This volume devoted to the Proceedings of the IXth International Congress of Egyptologists held in Grenoble, 6th-12th September 2004, has gathered two hundred papers sent by their authors to the editors aiming to be published. These papers are representative of the meetings of the fourteen working sessions and cover the whole field of the present egyptological researches, from the Origins to the Graeco-roman period.
