This book constitutes the refereed joint proceedings of the 7th Ibero-American Conference on AI and the 15th Brazilian Symposium on AI, IBERAMIA-SBIA 2000, held in Atibaia, Brazil in November 2000.The 48 revised full papers presented together with two invited contributions were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 156 submissions.
