Anotace
This work presents a collection of articles including several previously unpublished in hard to obtain journals. There are also other new articles on the scrolls, covering the scrolls in relation to Jesus and the New Testament. Featured essays include: "The Temple Scroll and the New Testament" (ed. G. J. Brooke); "Ezekiel in some Qumran and New Testament Texts" (ed. J.Trebolle Barrera and L.Vegas Montaner); and, "Jesus: in relation to the Dead Sea Scrolls and Scrolls Scholarship" (ed J.L. Houlden, 2003). The third part of the book focuses on the scrolls and the gospels in particular. Essays include: "Qumran: The Cradle of Christ?" (G.J. Brooke, Edinburgh, 2000); and "4Q500 and the Use of Scripture in the Parable of the Vineyard, Dead Sea Discoveries 2".
