Anotace
This is the lively personal account of botanical walks (mainly from Loutro and Paleohora) which the author has conducted for the last 10 years, with much practical advice. The island's mountainous topography provides great habitat diversity and 10 per cent of its 1700 species of higher plants are endemic. Latin names are given throughout and the plants are carefully described in context and often illustrated.
