Vol. 1: Constitutional Documents of the United Kingdom 1782-1835 Constitutional texts of the United Kingdom, a country which even to this day does not have a written constitution, are published in the first volume of the part dealing with Europe. A collection of the 15 most important laws, that can be regarded as legitimate constitutional documents, are now available for the first time in authentic version. For the years from 1782 to 1835, these include among others "The Conspiracy Act" from 1794, "The Act of Union between Britain and Ireland" from 1800, and "The Regency Act" from 1811. The editing of this volume was supervised by the highly reputed constitutional historian H. T. Dickinson, from the University of Edinburgh.
