In this important and ambitious book Ervin Laszlo approaches the unification of knowledge, and indeed of universal and planetary existence, not on mere analogies but on the basis of the recent discoveries of nonequilibrium thermodynamics with its concept of bifurcation and of other work on the dynamics of change in complex systems.
