Anotace
This book offers an opportunity for self-assessment in orthopaedic radiology, which forms a major part of the work of any general radiologist. Stress is laid on the appearances of the plain film, as this continues to be the major primary method of imaging bone and the main means of diagnosis. The reader is guided through the text and photographs, often being asked to suggest further steps in the radiological management of the case on the basis of interpretation of the initial film and the history provided. Each question is independent and the order of the 97 cases is random. The short clinical histories are essentially those provided by the patient at the time of presentation.
