Most new Internet users find it difficult to locate what they want - or even to find out how to get started. Many end up buying a book on computers, another on modems, and yet another on the Internet, without locating exactly the information they need. There are a number of Internet guides available. However, this book is different in that it deals specifically with the medical resources and bulletin boards, and it provides a foundation in the art of getting computers to talk to each other before even mentioning the Internet.
