Anotace
States that from more than 100,000 children deported to Auschwitz from all of Europe only about 300 survived. Contains testimonies of some of them, recorded in 1987. Relates the suffering of the children and deals with the guilt feelings of many of them over being the only survivors of their families. Notes that these children were never really liberated from Auschwitz; the camp lived on in their memories. Claims that they were not able to return to a normal life and they transmitted the trauma to the next generation.
