Anotace
The results of 45 interviews with top managers and "blue-chip" companies from Europe, USA and Japan have been used in this book to distil different and common characteristics of management philosophies, structures and practices in Europe. This book examines the common characteristics as the base of an evolving European management model and analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of European management as perceived by the interviews. These characteristics are then compared to management in the US and Japan, and to the way Americans and Japanese manage their operations in Europe.
