Anotace
This is the teacher's book in the "Distinction" English course, aimed at students who have completed a Cambridge First Certificate in English course. It contains a range of motivating and accessible authentic materials to provide stimulating theme-based contexts which will consolidate and extend students' knowledge. The emphasis is on learning through enjoyable activity-based tasks with ample interactive communication. Students are actively involved in tasks which encourage them to discover how the language works. The language practice in each unit is based on the carefully selected texts. The important area of multi-word verbs is dealt with systematically. Study skills such as dictionary use, categorization methods and note-taking techniques are included. The course also includes a students' book, a teacher's book and two cassettes. Some of the exercises in the course follow the format of the CAE exam.
