Johannes A. Buchmann is Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics at the Technical University of Darmstadt, and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Cryptology. In 1985, he received a Feodor Lynen Fellowship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
