Anotace
This undergraduate textbook provides an introduction to the law of contract, examining many areas of difficulty and controversy within the field. The text has been revised and updated to include over 350 new cases. Among the many topics which have received extensive reconsideration are the effects of illegality, the effects of non-disclosure, the contractual capacity of corporations, the scope of the doctrine of privity, contributory negligence in contract, formal requirements, objective tests of agreement, self-induced frustration and other aspects of discharge by supervening events, and judicial developments in the law relating to exemption clauses, particularly under the "Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977".
