Anotace
This book is devoted to the design of safe structures. The authors offer a particularly comprehensive presentation of the results of the studies made on wind effects on engineering structures. The main trends in the field are outlined and the results obtained in the solution of topical problems are described. Many original contributions by the authors are included in the book, e.g. the analysis of the response of structures, the design of anti-vibration devices and experimental studies.
