Anotace
This is a revised and updated A to Z guide to paediatric dentistry that defines the different management requirements of children at different stages of development. Material is presented within the context of four developmental stages: (a) conception to age three, (b) primary dentition years - age three to six, (c) transitional years from six to twelve, and (d) adolescence. The initial section focuses on information of general importance to understanding paediatric dentistry regardless of the age of the child. Succeeding sections discuss age-specific factors related to space maintenance, preventive, restorative, and aesthetic dentistry, and infection control.
