Anotace
This work offers a critique of the way the thinking and politics of the radical "new right" has operated in Britain, the United States, Canada, Israel, Germany and Chile, with particular regard to the concept and implementation of welfare systems. Divided into three sections, the book addresses the theoretical beliefs underpinning the radical right; the ways in which the radical right implemented their policies and beliefs in a number of countries across the world in the 1980s; and concludes with a prognosis for the future of welfare state systems under the radical right.
