Anotace
The basic science of pharmacology is an essential grounding for the student prior to their clinical studies. In the absence of sufficient teaching time, this book provides a useful studying and self-assessment tool. In order to maximize learning and review, this book has been laid out in two sections: a study guide, and a corresponding collection of uniformly designed questions with given answers. The study guide represents the organized core knowledge of pharmacology that is needed for entry into clinical clerkship and for licencing examinations; the questions and answers indicate to the user the degree of mastery of the subject as well as identify possible deficiencies for correction.
