Anotace
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the First International Workshop on Topic Map Research and Applications, TMRA 2005, held in Leipzig, Germany in October 2005. The 17 revised full papers and 5 revised short papers presented together with 1 invited lecture were carefully selected during two rounds of reviewing and improvement from more than 35 submissions. One of the goals of the workshop is to survey and structure the field of topic map research and the emerging topic map technologies. Matter of subject are markup languages, data modelling, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, cognitive science, philosophy and software engineering, recent results in topic maps research and intriguing applications.
