Known for its translucence and simplicity of design, Lobmeyr glass is prized by collectors the world over. The largest collection of Lobmeyr glass resides in the MAK--the Austrian Museum of Applied Arts, Contemporary Art in Vienna--and is catalogued here for the first time. A brief history of the Lobmeyr Company provides important background to the collection.
