Anotace
The atlas presents the results of potential functional ability of forests evaluation on the area managed by Forest District Buchlovice. Potential functional ability of forest in Buchlovice area was evaluated by the method Quantification and Evaluation of Forest Functions (Vyskot, I. et al., 2003) by parameter Real potential of forest functions. Real potential of forest functions (potential functional ability of forests) was evaluated according to the used method by so-called value grades (0 – 6; 0 means unsuitable and 6 means extraordinary functional potential) in frame of site conditions (functional management groups) and tree species composition (forest types). Management group 45 – nutritive sites of middle altitudes and forests with prevailing beech (presence more than 50%) in tree species composition are dominant in valuated area. Real potential of bio-production forest function is dominantly very high, real potential of hydric-water management forest function is low, real potential of edaphic-soil protection forest function is mostly average, real potential of social-recreation and health-hygienic forest functions vary between average to very high. Real potential of eco-stabilizing forest function obtain the widest range, from functionally unsuitable to extraordinary.
