Anotace
In this compilation of articles edited by Ton Wilthagen en Ralf Rogowski the reflexive law theory is used within the field of labour law. According to this theory law may be regarded as a system of specialised communication. The adoption of such a perspective in the sphere of labour law may enable us to know and define the essence of labour law and the characteristics which distinguish it from other law areas. The various authors that have contributed to this book have made use of the reflexive law theory in describing recent trends and developments in the area of labour law in Western Europe and the United States. Collective bargaining, trade union law, labour courts, occupational safety and health are among the issues that are covered in this work by an international group of distinguished scholars in the field. Reflexive Labour Law is an interesting attempt to grasp the basic meaning, the core elements of labour law and acquire a better understanding of present and future developments changing labour law and industrial relations in Europe and elsewhere.
