Partnership and reproductive behavior patterns have undergone major shifts over much of Europe and North America during the past three decades, leading to the coexistence of a variety of family forms. This country report sheds some light on the development in fertility and partnership formation in Belgium. It provides a deeper understanding of the subject by measuring possible explanatory factors.
