Rok: 1808-1861 Daniel Gottlob Moritz Schreber (15 October 1808 – 10 November 1861) was a German physician and university teacher at the University of Leipzig. In 1844, he became director of the Leipzig Heilanstalt (sanatorium). His publications predominantly dealt with the subject of children's health and the social consequences of urbanization at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution.
